The State of Arizona v. Crotts and Grabinski

On July 24, 2006, AOF clients Don Conrad, Kelly O'Connor, and Monica Clapper from the Attorney General's office in Arizona obtained 2 guilty verdicts in a criminal case against the now-defunct Baptist Foundation of Arizona. Two top executives with the foundation, which collapsed in 1999 in the largest nonprofit bankruptcy in U.S. history, were found guilty of charges that could send them to prison for decades. The bankruptcy cost 11,000 mostly elderly investors more than $550 million. Art of Facts provided graphics, interactive exhibits and trial technology consultation for the 10-month trial in Arizona's Maricopa County Superior Court.

Medaphis v. Sybase

On June 30, 2006, AOF clients Maria Boyce and Jim Cannon of Baker Botts received a verdict in favor of their client, Sybase. Art of Facts provided demonstrative exhibit design, video production and courtroom computer operation for the two week trial in the 269th District Court in Harris County, Texas.

Gulsby Bay v. Gulf Liquids

On August 1, 2006, AOF clients Don Jackson of Ware Jackson Lee and Chambers and Bill Andrews of Andrews Myers Coulter & Cohen received a verdict of over $230 million for their clients Bay Limited and Gulsby Bay Partnership in Harris County’s 215 th District Court. Art of Facts provided demonstrative exhibit design in the case.

Kinetic Concepts v. Bluesky Medical

On August 3, 2006, AOF client Randy McClanahan of McClanhan and Clearman received a verdict in favor of his client Blue Sky Medical Art of Facts provided demonstrative exhibit design, video production and courtroom computer operation for the 6 week patent dispute in United States District Court in San Antonio, Texas.
